    • Spanish universities run their own admissions and deadlines. For a Grado (Bachelor's), you usually take part through an accreditation of your school diploma; for a Máster you apply directly.

    • Spanish-taught programmes ask for proof of Spanish (often DELE or SIELE); English-taught programmes for proof of English. Each university sets the level.

  2. Application documents

    Motivation letter

Often required for Máster programmes. Spanish committees expect a clear, well-structured letter connecting your background to the programme.

  3. Depending on your situation

    • A digital certificate that lets you take part in Spanish university admission with a foreign school diploma. It does not replace homologation.

    • If your diploma comes from outside the EU and from a country without an agreement, you usually need the homologation of your diploma to the Spanish Bachillerato — it is required for the UNEDasiss accreditation. It is granted by the Ministry, not by UNED.

    • Exams taken through UNED that raise your admission grade. Public universities often expect several subjects — check what your programme counts.

How much money do I need for the visa?

At least 100% of IPREM per month — about €600 in 2026. Each additional family member adds a share. Check the current amount with your consulate.
