Pennaway is operated by the provider named in the legal notice (Impressum). These terms apply to every use of the service.

Pennaway creates drafts of motivation letters and statements of purpose with an AI model, based on the information you enter or upload. Using the generator requires an account. Your first letter is free.

Every letter is an AI-generated draft. You are responsible for reviewing it, correcting it where necessary and deciding whether and how to use it. Some universities restrict the use of AI tools in applications — please check the rules of your university. We do not guarantee admission or any particular outcome.

Only enter information that is true and that you are entitled to use. Do not use the service to create content unrelated to university applications, to circumvent technical limits or to harm others. We may limit or suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Full letters are unlocked with credits, which you buy via Stripe. One credit unlocks one full letter. If a generation fails for technical reasons, no credit is used. Credits do not expire while your account exists, cannot be transferred and cannot be exchanged for cash. Unused credits are forfeited when you delete your account.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable. Changes to these terms apply to future purchases; the version shown here at the time of purchase applies.
